Fees

• 3 and 4 year Old Free (up to 20 hours/week, max 6 hrs per day)
• $4.50 per hour for all other children and above 20 hours free
• $6.50 per hour Casual (un-funded) enrollment
• Holding fee $2 per day for absences over 3 weeks
• Late fee $2 per minute after 10 minutes

Accounts for Fees: Fees are charged on the basis of the greater of permanently booked hours, or hours attended. Fees payable on invoice and can be paid at the office, by mail, or paid by Direct Credit into our Bank account 03 1578 0051546 00. Please ask for a receipt for cash. Accounts are placed in child’s letter pocket, usually monthly. Please advise if you would prefer invoices to be posted or emailed.

Overdue Accounts: The centre has the right to terminate your child’s enrolment in cases of 1 month overdue accounts, and refer outstanding fees including collection costs to debt collection.

WINZ Childcare Subsidy: Many families are eligible for a Childcare subsidy from Work and Income NZ; please ask for information from the office or Supervisor.

Absences and Changing days: We plan staff rosters according to Early Childhood regulations, and the children booked. The more notice we are given of children’s absences, the easier it is to change the staff ratios to efficiently manage our staff costs:       

• Temporary Swap days can be arranged 1 week in advance if space permits
• If 2 weeks notice is given of your child’s absence no fees will be charged for up to 3 weeks absence. Longer absences $2 Holding fee per day
• If notice of absence is less than 2 weeks but before 8 am on the day of absence, half fees charged.
• Full fees charged for absences notified after 8am or without notification.
• Free Make up days are not available after the absence has occurred.
• Children booked in for school terms only are not charged for school holidays, as long as 2 weeks notice given.
• 2 weeks notice is required for termination of enrolment
